Some people might suggest that we´ve recently entered the age of violence. The lyrics of this song were influenced by my feelings while watching TV news. It was basically 30 minutes of human tragedies on air. I don´t think that the people in 21st century are in any way more violent than the ones in the middle age, for example. I guess the huge difference is that nowadays we have an opportunity to find whatever information we need in seconds. Also, the possibilities for killing and destruction are much wider. Because of the factors mentioned, everyone is much more aware of the bad things taking place these days and as a result, people grow more and more apathetic. Although the lyrics seem pretty bleak, I still think people shouldn´t give up the struggle for making the world a better place. We must not be manipulated by mass media bullshit!
